My Weblog: The Gospel Preacher.

In 2 Kings 9:20, it is written, " 20 And the watchman told, saying, He came even unto them, and cometh not again: and the driving is like the driving of Je´-hu the son of Nim´-shi; for he driveth furiously. "  God, the Word, the great King, has said that not everything that happens is His will, for in Hebrews 1:8, 9, it is written ( please read all of this chapter to get the immediate context ), " 8 But unto the Son he saith, aTHY THRONE, O GOD, IS FOR EVER AND EVER: 1A SCEPTRE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IS THE SCEPTRE OF THY KINGDOM.  9 THOU HAST LOVED RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND HATED 1INIQUITY; THEREFORE GOD, EVEN THY GOD, aHATH ANOINTED THEE WITH THE OIL OF GLADNESS ABOVE THY 2FELLOWS. "  Since God hates iniquity, this means that the Calvinist's claim of the sovereignty of God is false doctrine.  Specifically, according to this Calvinistic false doctrine, we find, " *That whatever God wants, happens. "1  In 1 Timothy 2:1-4, it is written, " 2 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 afor kings, and bfor all that are in 1authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and 2honesty.  3 For this is agood and acceptable in the sight bof God our Saviour; 4 awho 1will have all men to be saved, band to come unto the knowledge of the truth. "  God wants all men to be saved, but this will not happen, due to the simple fact that hell exists ( see Mark 9:42-50, for example ).  It has just been shown from the sacred text that the Calvinist's claim of the sovereignty of God is wrong.  Thus, not everything that happens in this world is God's will.  In Genesis 2:18, it is written, " 18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; aI will make him an 1help meet for him. "  Since God created the woman to fulfill the role of helper, and not commander, in this world, this means that God never intended for there to be a female commander-in-chief in this world.  God does not want a female commander-in-chief in this world, but this country may be nigh unto having just that.  Why is this sinful ( see 1 John 3:4, for example ) situation a possibility?  Because we live in a sinful world.  At the time that God issued His statement in Genesis 2:18, and then fulfilled it, the human race had not yet committed any sin.  From the beginning of time as we reckon it, God had established clearly defined roles for the husband and his wife.  The husband is the head of his wife, for in Ephesians 5:23, it is written, " 23 For athe husband is the head of the wife, even as bChrist is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. "  Moreover, in Ephesians 5:24, it is written, " 24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands ain every thing. "  Furthermore, in Colossians 3:20, 22, it is written, " 20 aChildren, obey your parents bin all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.…  22 aServants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in 1singleness of heart, fearing God. "  The Bible clearly teaches that the husband is the master, and his wife is his slave.  Thus, in this sinful world in which we live, it may be possible for a husband's slave to end up in the Oval Office.  In Proverbs 30:21-23, it is written, " 21 For three things the earth is disquieted, and for four which it cannot bear: 22 afor a servant when he reigneth; and a fool when he is filled with 1meat; 23 for an 1odious woman when she is married; and an handmaid that is heir to her mistress. "  The earth cannot bear a servant or slave when he reigns, for example.

The clearly defined roles of men and women in this world have been blurred by sin.  The women in this world are increasingly filled with pride, and have come to have an entitlement mentality.  This claim is borne out by the feminist mantra, namely: " Whatever a man can do, a woman can do better. "  This sinful mentality leads the feminists to wrongly assume that they can do whatever a man can do.  The man Christ Jesus ( see 1 Timothy 2:5, for example ) died on the cross of Calvary for the sins of all those who will keep His commandments.  This world has never seen a woman in that specific role — we know why.  In Luke 22:20, it is written, " 20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, aThis cup is the new 1testament in my blood, which is shed for you. "  The contents of the communion cups is the New Testament in the Mediator's blood.  As Christians, every time we partake of the fruit of the vine, we are agreeing to be bound by the New Testament.  In Hebrews 9:14-18, it is written, " 14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without 1spot to God, apurge2 your conscience from bdead works cto serve the living God?  15 And for this cause ahe is the mediator of the new 1testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first 1testament, bthey which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.  16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.  17 For aa testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.  18 aWhereupon 1neither the first 2testament was dedicated without blood. "  The Mediator of the New Testament had to die on the cross.  Only memebers of the church of Christ are following Him ( see Johh, chapter 9 ( especially verse 28, for example ); Acts 2:38, 41, and 47; chapter 11 ( especially verse 26, for example ); Ephesians 1:15-23 ( especially verses 22 and 23, for example ); and Colossians 1:1-23 ( especially verse 18, for example ), for example ).  Jesus, the Mediator, the Word, the great King, set the example for us to follow.  In 1 Peter 2:21-24, it is written ( please read this entire chapter to get the immediate context ), " 21 For aeven hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, bleaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: 22 aWHO DID NO SIN, NEITHER WAS 1GUILE FOUND IN HIS MOUTH: 23 awho, when he was reviled, reviled not 1again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but bcommitted himself to him that judgeth righteously: 24 awho his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, bthat we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: cby whose 1stripes ye were healed. "

Jesus, the Word, the great King, suffered for doing well.  Please search the scriptures daily, as the Jews of Be-re´-a did ( see Acts 17:10, 11, for example ).  Please study the Holy Bible. 🕮
