My Weblog: The Gospel Preacher.

In 2 Timothy 2:15, it is written, " 15 aStudy1 to 2shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. "  Bible study is critical to God's command to meditate on His word.  In 1 Timothy 4:11-16, it is written, " 11 These things command and teach.  12 Let no man 1despise thy youth; but be thou an aexample of the believers, in word, in 2conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.  13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to 1doctrine.  14 aNeglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, bwith the laying on of the hands of the 1presbytery.  15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself 1wholly to them; that thy 2profiting may 3appear to all.  16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee " ( Emphasis mine, R.E.W. ).  In order to meditate on God's word we, as Christians, must first study the Holy Bible.  This is especially true for those of us men, who are full-time evangelists ( see 1 Timothy 2:11, 12 and 2 Timothy 4:1-5, for example ).  It has been posed in the media recently why there has been an obsession with women in leaderhship roles.  This question will be answered with another question, namely, why is this country obsessed with putting a woman in the Oval Office, which is a sin ( see 2 Kings, chapter 11; Romans 6:23; and 1 John 3:4, for example )?  The adherents of the feminist false religion ( see Jeremiah, chapter 44, for example ) want to spread their heinous influence far and wide, while expecting us, as full-time evangelists, to keep quiet and not confront their false doctrine with the Scriptures ( see Ephesians 5:11, for example ).

Concerning the account of Athaliah, the Scriptures record that she reigned for a period of six years ( see 2 Kings 11:3, for example ).  This period of time, in no way, serves as justification for her reign over the southern kingdom of Judah.  In Ecclesiastes 8:11, it is written, " 11 aBecause sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil " ( Emphasis mine, R.E.W. ).  God, through His providence ( see Psalm 119:12, for example ), provided the remedy for the sin of Athaliah holding the top job, through the event of Joash reaching seven years of age ( see 2 Kings 11:2, 21, for example ).  The sentence, against Athaliah, wrongly holding the top job, was not executed speedily — a period of six years passed before Jehoiada and the rulers over hundreds, for example ( see 2 Kings 11:4, for example ), did the right thing and removed Athaliah from office.  Moreover, in 2 Kings 11:20, it is written, " 20 And all the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was in quiet: and they slew Athaliah with the sword beside the king's house. "  If God considers it to be acceptable for a woman to hold the top job, then why was Athaliah slain?  In Romans 6:23, it is written, " 23 For athe wages of sin is death; but bthe gift of God is eternal life 1through Jesus Christ our Lord. " ( Emphasis mine, R.E.W. ).  God clearly says that it is a sin for a woman to hold the top job.  The wrong gender is currently holding the office of Vice President of the United States of America.  The men of this country must do the right thing and remove her from office.  It will be interesting to note how much time passes before this sin is remedied.  Studying God's word, the Holy Bible, and meditating on it, will provide us with the answers we need for holy living ( see 2 Peter 1:1-3, for example ).  Please seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read ( see Isaiah 34:16, for example ). 🕮
