" Husbands, Love Your Wives, As Christ Loved The Church.… "

The following quotation is provided concerning the book of Ephesians, namely: " EPHESIANS, BOOK OF  (E´ phē´ sians)  .…  Paul and the Ephesians  .…  Interpreters are divided in opinion as to the time and place of the writing of Ephesians.  These two imprisonments of Paul are the only ones which might bear on the question of where and when the Imprisonment Epistles were written.  In all four of these epistles, Paul mentioned his imprisonment.  A related and much debated question is the year of Paul's writing each epistle and the place.  To our knowledge only two places appear to be viable options — Caesarea and Rome.  Majority opinion through Christian history has favored Rome.  A much smaller minority of interpreters have argued for Caesarea.  The case for Caesarea has been posited on speculative questions such as: (1) Would it be easier for Paul to get letters to the three places involved (Ephesus, Colosse, and Philippi) from Caesarea or from Rome?  (2) Would it be easier for the runaway slave, Onesimus, to meet Paul in a faraway Rome or the much closer Caesarea?  A third opinion has grown out of Colossians 4:16 in which Paul urged the church at Colosse to exchange letters with the church at neigboring Laodicea so both might get the benefit of both letters.  This opinion, which was never widely held, took the position that Paul was writing from an imprisonment in Ephesus and that the ' Laodicean ' letter was what we have as ' Ephesians. '"1  The apostle Paul ( see Ephesians 1:1 ) wrote ( see 3:1 and 4:1, for example ) to us, as Christians, a warning not to live as the Gentiles do, for in Ephesians 4:17, it is written, " 17 Now this I say and d testify in the Lord, e that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, f in the futility of their minds. "  NOTE: The picture, located at the upper, left corner of this paragraph, was downloaded from the " bing.com " web page.2

Christ gave Himself up for the church of Christ.  This is sacrificial love, for example.  Without this sacrifice of Christ on the cross, there would be no New Testament church.

The false claim of seeking to be justified by the law of Moses wrongly implies that there is no need for the church, for example, in this world ( see Acts 2:38, 41, and 47 ( KJV, for example ) and Galatians 5:4, for example ).  This false claim seeks to remove the concepts of the marriage supper of the Lamb ( see Revelation 19:9, for example ) and the Bride of Christ ( see Revelation 19:7; 21:1, 2, for example ), for example, from the gospel message ( see Acts 15:1-21 ( especially verse 7, for example ) and Ephesians 1:1-14 ( especially verse 13, for example ), for example ).  The Lamb of God ( see John 1:29, for example ) had to confront Saul concerning his sin ( see 1 John 3:4 ( KJV, for example ), for example ) of persecuting the church ( see Acts 9:1-19, for example ), that is, His perfect, spotless Bride ( see Ephesians 5:27, for example ).

God commands husbands to love their wives and not be harsh with them ( see Colossians 3:19, for example ).  Please seek and read from the book of the LORD ( see Isaiah 34:16, for example ).  Please study the Holy Bible.
