" Can A Man Be Profitable To God?… "

The following quotation is provided regarding Uz, namely: " UZ  (Ŭz)  Personal and place name perhaps meaning, 'replacement.'  1. Unspecified territory, most likely in Hauran south of Damascus (Jer. 25:20) or else between Edom and northern Arabia (Job 1:1; Lam. 4:21). "1  Additionally, the following quotation is provided concerning the book of Job, namely: " JOB, THE BOOK OF  (Jōb)  Job apparently lived in the patriarchal or prepatriarchal days, for not only does he not mention the Law or the Exodus, but he is pictured as a wealthy nomad (Job 1:3; 42:12) who is still offering sacrifices himself (Job 1:5; 42:8).  Undoubtedly, Job was a most respected man, for not only did the prophet Ezekiel refer to him as one of the greatest of Israel's ancestors (Ezek. 14:14), but even James used him as an excellent example of patient and persistent faith (Jas. 5:11).  The book of Job presents many problems concerning the person, time, and nature of its composition.  First, the text does not indicate in any way its author.  The text never speaks of Job as its author, just its subject.  Thus, many have concluded that Job was written by Elihu, one of the three friends, or simply some anonymous writer of that or some other age.  Second, though most will agree that the character Job lived in patriarchal times, many believe that the book was written many years later.  The dates of such a composition will vary from the time of Abraham to that of the Greek Empire.  Third, to further complicate the issue, many believe that Job is a compilation of several different stories coming from several different ages.  As one can readily see, the question of date and authorship is a very complex issue that cannot yet be settled with certainty; however, the fact that one cannot identify the human agent in no way means that the book if [ sic ] not inspired, for it is God's word and is a unit as it now stands.  Job is a Perfect Illustration of True Faith.  Through the years, many purposes have been suggested for the book.  Perhaps the one that has been mentioned more often than any other is that of answering the question of why the righteous suffer.  Certainly this question was prominent in Job's day, for ancient society believed that human suffering was the result of one's sin or at least a god's displeasure.  Even the meaning of the name Job (the persecuted one) seems to support this suggestion, but that may not be all that is involved in the book. "2 Job was blameless and upright, for example ( see Job 1:1, for example ).  NOTE: The picture, located at the upper, left corner of this paragraph, was downloaded from the " bing.com " web page.3

Since, as Jesus said, we are unprofitable servants when we have done all that we have been commanded by Him, then how are we to be viewed when we fail to keep His commandments?  In John 14:15, it is written ( please read all of this chapter to get the immediate context ), " 15b ' If you love me, you will ckeep my commandments. '"  When we fail to keep Jesus' commandments, this means that we hate Him.

In John 14:6, it is written, " 6 Jesus said to him, ' I am l the way, and m the truth, and n the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me. '"  Again, in Acts 26:5, it is written, " 5 They have known for a long time, if they are willing to testify, that r according to the strictest s party of our t religion I have lived as u a Pharisee. "  Hatred for Jesus is demonstrated through the following simple mathematical equation, namely: \begin{equation}\tag{1} Number\_of\_true,\_non\_obsolete,\_religions > 1, \end{equation} and the truth is demonstrated through the following simple mathematical equation, namely: \begin{equation}\tag{2} Number\_of\_false\_religions > 0. \end{equation} In Psalm 119:104, it is written, " 104 Through your precepts I get understanding; therefore fI hate every false way. "  God commmands us ( see Ecclesiastes 12:13, for example ), as His children ( see Galatians 3:26, 27, for example ) to hate every false way, which means that we are to hate every false religion.  Thus, the concept of freedom of religion ( or the justifying of false religion ) is condemned in the Holy Bible.  Jesus is the ONLY way to heaven.  See also Colossians, chapter 2 ( especially verse 14, for example ), for example.

In Romans 3:23, it is written, " 23 for f all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. "  When we, as Christians, fail to keep Jesus' commandments, we are worse than unprofitable — we have fallen short of God's glory.  Please seek and read from the book of the LORD ( see Isaiah 34:16, for example ).
