They Offered Him Wine To Drink.

The following quotation is provided regarding Calvary: " CALVARY  (Căl´ va͐ ry̆) Place name meaning, ' a bare skull. '  The place where Jesus was crucified.  Our English word ' Calvary ' comes from the Latin calvaria.  This word is a translation of the Greek kranion, meaning ' skull. '  The Greek is a translation of the Aramaic golgotha, also meaning ' skull. '  The word is used twice in the Greek translation of the Old Testament (Judg. 9:53; 2 Kings 9:35) to designate the skulls of Abimelech and Jezebel.  ' Calvary ' appears in the New Testament, only in the story of the crucifixion (Matt. 27:33; Mark 15:22; John 19:17).  The gospel writers name it as the place where Christ was led to be executed.  Exactly why the place is called this is not known.  The logical explanation would be because the skull symbolized death.  A place of execution would see its share of skulls.  Archaeologists are uncertain where Calvary was located.  John 19:20 and Hebrews 13:12 say that Jesus was taken outside the city to be crucified.  Mark 15:29 suggests that a road may have been nearby. "1  Jesus was crucified with two robbers, one on the right and one on the left ( see Matthew 27:38, for example ).  It was prepared by the heavenly Father for those two robbers to be crucified with Jesus ( see Matthew, chapter 18 ( especially verse 35, for example ); chapter 20 ( especially verses 20-23, for example ), for example ).  The picture, located to the upper, left corner of this paragraph, was downloaded from the " bing.com " web page.2

The King of Israel is humble.  In Matthew 21:5, it is written, " 5u ' Say to the daughter of Zion, "' Behold, your king is coming to you, v humble, and mounted on a donkey, and4 on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden. '"'"  Jesus never committed the sin of pride ( see Proverbs 16:18, for example ), or any other sin ( see Hebrews 4:14, 15, for example ).

At the wedding in Cana of Galilee, the Worm ( see Psalm 22:6, for example ) converted water to grape juice ( see Johh 2:1-12, for example ).  It was truly a miracle that the Worm died on the cross of Calvary for the church.  A supernatural miracle was performed by God to raise the Worm from the dead ( see Acts 2:32, for example ).

The Worm was not a Nazirite ( see Numbers, chapter 6, for example ).  Of the Worm, it is written, " They offered him wine to drink, mixed with gall, but when he tasted it, he would not drink it. "  Please seek and read from the book of the LORD ( see Isaiah 34:16, for example ).
