Where Is The One Who Is Wise?

It has been established, in the church bulletin, above, that God does not need debaters who are skilled in the wisdom of this world.  We have seen various skilled debaters in this world.  As reported on the Ingraham Angle last night ( Monday, April 18, 2022 ), in Laura Ingraham's words, the late President John F. Kennedy defeated the late President Richard M. Nixon in the first televised presidential debate — he was cool.  As it turns out, both of these men, who were not president of the United States at the time, had their time in the Oval Office cut short.  President John F. Kennedy was killed by an assassin's bullet, and President Richard M. Nixon was forced to resign due to the Watergate scandal.  This observation should make us all realize that it is not profitable to be a debater skilled in the wisdom of this world.  As Christians, members of the church, if we are going to debate anything, it had better be God's word, with a view toward an accurate understanding of it ( please read Acts, chapter 15 ( especially verse 2, for example ), for example ).  This world does not need cool.  This world needs a sound, Christian influence ( see Matthew 5:13-16, for example ) from Christians, members of the church of Christ, who know what the Bible teaches, as a result of a lifetime of daily Bible study ( see Acts 17:10, 11, for example ).  The younger generation cannot meet this standard.  In Job 32:7, it is written, " 7 I said, ' Let days speak, and many years teach wisdom. '"  Wisdom cannot be attained through youth and inexperience.  The apostle Paul warned the church of God at Corinth ( see 1 Corinthians 1:2 ) in 16:22, " 22 If anyone has no love for the Lord, let him be p accursed.  Our Lord, come!1 "  Paul makes the stark observation that it is possible for a member of the church to have no love for the Lord.  Brutality and viciousness have no place in the kingdom of God ( see Galatians 5:22, for example ).  The picture, to the upper, left corner of this paragraph, was downloaded from the " bing.com " web page.1

Paul asked, " Where is the one who is wise? "  In Isaiah 19:11, 12, it is written, " 11 The princes of n Zoan are utterly foolish; the wisest counselors of Pharaoh give stupid counsel.  How can you say to Pharaoh, ' I am a son of the wise, a son of ancient kings '?  12 Where then are your o wise men?  Let them tell you that they might know what the LORD of hosts has purposed against Egypt. "  This passage of Scripture is a foreshadowing of 1 Corinthians 3:19, which reads as follows, namely: " 19For gthe wisdom of this world is folly with God.  For it is written, h ' He catches the wise in their craftiness '" ( Emphasis mine, R.E.W. ).  Wisdom comes from God's word, the Holy Bible ( see Proverbs 2:1-6, for example ).

Paul asked, " Where is the scribe? "  The scribes answer wisely concerning God's word ( see Mark 12:28-34, for example ).  However, giving a wise answer regarding God's word is not enough.  We must hear and do the word ( see James 1:22, for example ).

The answer to the question, " Where is the one who is wise, " is provided by God.  El Shaddai asked and aswered His own question.  Please seek and read from the book of the LORD ( see Isaiah 34:16, for example ).
