To Show Partiality Is Not Good.

In Matthew 5:1, at the beginning of The Sermon On The Mount, it is written ( please read this entire chapter to get the immediate context ), " 5 Seeing the crowds, o he went up on the mountain, and when he p sat down, his disciples came to him. "  On which mountain did Jesus preach this sermon?  The following quotation is provided regarding the Mount Of The Beattitudes: " MOUNT OF THE BEATITUDES  The ' Horns of Hattin ' near Capernaum which tradition identifies as the site of the Sermon on the Mount (Matt. 5:1-7:29).  The reference to Jesus' ascending the mountain is perhaps meant to recall the story of Moses at Sinai (Ex. 19:3, 20). "1  Moreover, in Matthew 11:20-24, it is written, " 20z Then he began to denounce the cities where most of his mighty works had been done, because they did not repent.  21a ' Woe to you, Chorazin!  Woe to you, Bethsaida!  For if the mighty works done in you had been done in b Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.  22c But I tell you, it will be more bearable on d the day of judgment for b Tyre and Sidon than for you.  23 And you, eCapernaum, will you be exalted to heaven?  You will be brought down to f Hades.  For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.  24c But I tell you that g it will be more tolerable on d the day of judgment for the land of Sodom than for you. '"  It is interesting that Jesus condemned Capernaum, for example, for its lack of repentance, though The Sermon On The Mount was preached near that city.  One lesson we learn, from this observation, is that not everyone, at that time, was interested in this famous homily preached by Jesus.  That situation remains to this day.  See also Psalm 81:11-13, for example.  NOTE: The source code, for the picture to the top, left of this paragraph, was taken from the " biblestudy.org " web page.2

Philip did not show partiality when he baptized the Ethiopian eunuch into Christ ( see Acts 8:26-40 ( especially verses 36-39, for example; KJV, for example ) and Galatians 3:26, 27, for example ).  Most importantly, Jesus never shows partiality.  In Matthew 11:15, it is written, "' 15t He who has ears to hear,5 let him hear. '"  As best I can tell, every human being I have ever seen has two ears.

In Matthew 22:39, it is written, "' 39 And h a second is like it: i You shall love your neighbor as yourself. '"  Implied, in this statement by Jesus, is the fact that if we show partiality, then we are not loving our neighbor as ourselves.  Jesus commands us ( see John 15:14, for example ), as His slaves ( see Exodus 24:1-8; Leviticus 25:35-46 ( especially verses 44 and 45, for example ); Deuteronomy 7:6; Matthew 1:16; 16:13-20 ( especially verses 16-18, for example ); Mark 16:15, 16; Luke 22:14-23 ( especially verse 20, for example; KJV, for example ); 23:26-49 ( especially verse 33, for example; KJV, for example ); Romans, chapter 6 ( especially verses 3, 4, 10, and 22, for example ); 1 Corinthians 7:17-24 ( especially verses 22 and 23, for example ); 11:1; Colossians 1:1-23 ( especially verse 20, for example ); 1 Peter 2:9; and Revelation 1:1-8 ( especially verses 4-6, for example ), for example ), to treat others the way we want to be treated ( see Matthew 7:12, for example ).

Showing partiality is a sign of a lack of humility, for example ( see Proverbs 15:33, for example ).  A general dislike of others is contrary to what the Bible teaches.  Solomon said to show partiality is not good.  Please study the Holy Bible.
